You will serve as a Program Manager in the CVN Program Office (PMS 378A) of PROGRAM EXECUTIVE OFFICE CARRIERS.
Duties
You will serve in a Program Management position as the Acquisition Assistant Program Manager PMS 378A in the New Construction Aircraft Carriers Program Office in PROGRAM EXECUTIVE OFFICE AIRCRAFT CARRIERS.
You will provide technical expertise to PEO Carriers leadership and is accountable for cost, schedule, performance
reporting and contract activities, logistics, budget and personnel management for assigned activities.
You will provide review and follow-up of organization-directed assignments and assures that organizational goals, objectives, and deadlines are met.
You will identify requirements and define scope of projects which comprise the overall acquisition program.
You will provide analysis to situations, identify problems, probe causes and select courses of action for subordinate
managers.
You will oversee identification of resource requirements and development of strategies for program, planning, budgeting, and execution (PPBE).
You will apply management and business principles to analyze situations, identify problems, probe causes and select courses of action for subordinate managers.
Requirements

- This position is covered under Public Law 114-264, the Program Management Improvement Accountability Act (PMIAA).
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-03 (GS-13 equivalency) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Managing program requirements to support the planning and execution of acquisition projects for aircraft carriers.
