You will serve as an Information Technology Specialist (Systems Administration) in the Interactive Systems Engineering Branch, Enterprise System Engineering Division, In-Service Engineering Department of Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Keyport (NAVUNSEAWARCENDIV KEYPORT WA)..
Duties
You will install, configure, troubleshoot and maintain server and system configurations (hardware and software).
You will assure the confidentiality, resiliency, integrity, and availability of systems, networks, and data.
You will plan and schedule the installation of new or modified hardware and operating systems and applications software.
You will manage accounts, network rights, and access to systems and equipment.
You will manage systems resources including performance, capacity, availability, serviceability, and recoverability.
You will implement security procedures and tools.
You will develop and document systems administration standard operating procedures.
You will resolve hardware/software interface and interoperability problems and ensure systems availability, functionality, integrity, and efficiency.
You will develop and execute cybersecurity maintenance plans and activities.

- This position is designated as a Cyber IT/Cybersecurity Workforce position. You must obtain and maintain the credentials as described in SECNAV M-5239.2 for specialty area 451 level Intermediate within 12 months of appointment.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- This position requires ability to distinguish basic colors, and ability to distinguish shades of colors.
- This position's functional requirements include lifting, pushing, pulling or carrying objects to include moderate lifting, 15-44 pounds and moderate carrying of 15-44 pounds.
Qualifications
For GS-12: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Analyzing information technology systems to maintain and administer computer networks and related computing environments, including computer hardware and software, and configurations to ensure security, performance, and availability.
Your must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.
