This position is a working leader assigned responsibility for building and utility maintenance work. Incumbent performs the duties and responsibilities of a craftsman in the maintenance, preservation, and construction operations of the park including historic structures, buildings and other park facilities and physical resources.

Duties

The primary purpose of the position is to perform recurring building and/or utility maintenance and operation duties under the direct supervision of the Building & Utilities Supervisor. The Work Leader directs employees in the performance of executing scheduled preventive maintenance inspections, & corrective maintenance of electrical, HVAC, utility system repairs, mechanical, and plumbing maintenance in the Arch Visitor Center, the Ranger Station, Grounds, Old Court House, and north and south overlooks throughout the busy season and the year to perform preventive maintenance and respond to issues.
