The position is at the full performance level located at the VHAGLAHS, a complexity level 1-a facility, in the Engineering department working under the direct supervision of the Facility Manager. Work is assigned on a long-term, as well as on a day-to-day basis, and the incumbent has full latitude in processing work assignments and is normally expected to use own judgment and initiative in completing assignments.

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions: This position requires walking, standing, bending, sitting, crawling and climbing. Incumbent must have good vision, with or without glasses. The Incumbent shall be able to lift up to 50 lbs. The working conditions during normal time and overtime hours will be in uncontrolled environments from ladders, rooftops and confined spaces andscaffolding. Occasionally, he/she will be subject to very uncomfortable and possibly dangerous working conditions, exposure to hazards and various types of infections normally encountered in hospitals or other medical facility builds.
