About the Position: Serves as the Medical Activity-Alaska (MEDDAC-AK) subject matter expert and final reviewer for the OER/NCOER (Officer Evaluation/Non-commissioned Officer Evaluation) program and provides guidance and assistance to Soldiers, managers and hospital staff for all issues applicable to submission, appeal and/or removal of evaluations from the personnel data system and/or official personnel record. Position is located at Ft. Wainwright, AK.

Reviews various source documents, initiates appropriate Military HR System transaction updates for various HR actions
Provides awards and decorations guidance and direction to managers, supervisors, and hospital staff.

Requirements
- A 1-year probationary period may be required.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret clearance.
- Temporary Duty (TDY) travel may be required up to 10% of the time.

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-06).
