Duties
You will provide assistance to the COR and specification writer.
You will review contract specifications for compatibility with the administration of performance assessment methods and procedure; prepare PAPs/FAPs and assessment schedules.
You will recommend variations in planned assessment methods and procedures to meet unusual problems situation.
You will assure adequacy of material or equipment specifications.
You will assure adequacy of the specification based on knowledge of customer requirements and functions to be performed.
Requirements

- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
1. Preparing Goverment cost estimates for task orders and minor modifications using industy/DoD accepted standards.
2. Applying schedules-based reviews of contract clauses and conditions, contract or work schedule, nature of the work to be performed, review of drawings and specifications, and determination of critical assesment points involved.
3. Applying a wide range of contract and performance assessment duties in support of Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) including direct oversight of the contractor's Quality Management System program, pre-postal performance assessment tasks
