You will serve as a Supervisory Facilities Support Contracts Manager in the Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Mid-Atlantic, Naval Support Activity-Mechanicsburg., Pennsylvania, (NSAM) of NAVFAC ENGINEERING CMD MID-ATLANTIC.

Duties

You will assign work, set priorities and prepare schedules of work completion. You will administer a variety of management programs such as safety , cost reduction, equal employment opportunity, incentive awards, training, leave and employee/labor relations. You will conduct research to identify and analyze trends and provide recommendations to achieve program objectives. You will recommend cost approval or disapproval and participate in negotiations with the contractor to obtain corrective action. You will administer work assignments to personnel to achieve the goals of the command. You will consult with personnel to obtain or exchange information to accomplish work-related activities.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing the following duties: Provides Facility Service Contract project management duties: Initiate eProjects program eContracts to initiate Acquisition Request for service and facility construction type work; 2) Assigns work, setting priorities and preparing schedules of work completion. Assigns the work based on these priorities, with consideration for the difficulty and requirements of the assignments and employee capabilities; 3) Monitors compliance to assure technical soundness, adequacy, and efficiency in administration and operations of facilities service and construction contracts and the Performance Work Statement for the Government Service Provider; 4) Reviews and assists the customer in defining their requirements, often meeting with customers for planning and acquisition strategy; and 5) Provides full first line supervision to up to five Engineering Technicians, and three Performance Assessment Representatives.
