About the Position: Serves as an Installation Management Command (IMCOM) advisor and expert consultant for the IMCOM Directorate (ID) on the housing management program (both family and unaccompanied personnel). Moving expenses and/or recruitment/relocation incentives MAY be authorized for this position.

Duties

As a Housing Management Specialist, you will perform the following duties: Plans, directs and coordinates the ID programs and guidance for multiple housing management programs. Develops, ID comments/recommendations for new or changed programs/regulations. Coordinates with other staff specialist on matters, which impact on the various housing programs and participates in changes or new developments for current and/or new programs. Provides technical guidance and responds to request for advice/assistance from operating, housing offices. Monitors program design and policy execution. Conducts on-site visits to evaluate effectiveness of operating programs. Develops cost data and other information for manpower requirements, ADP equipment, servicing agreements, etc. Works with contributing organizations for input, screens out inappropriate material, and revises submission as necessary.

  • Must possess or be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance for the duration of employment.
  • Temporary duty travel (20% or less) away from the normal duty station may be required.
