The Publications Branch Manager for ODM is responsible for managing and overseeing the daily operations, establishing short and long term goals and objectives, and directing in depth analysis for improving work functions.

Qualifications
You must meet the United States Office of Personnel Management's (OPM) qualification requirements (including specialized experience and/or educational requirements) for the advertised position. The experience may have been gained in the public sector, private sector or Volunteer Service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-timework is considered on a prorated basis. Specialized Experience is experience that has equipped applicants with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the next lower grade level in the federal service. For this position, the next lower grade level is a for this position, the next lower grade level is a GS-12.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS FOR GS-13: You must have one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal Service.
Specialized experience for this position includes:
Experience in conducting project management and analysis to support the design, planning, refining systems while ensuring alignment with operational objectives.
Experience conducting comprehensive evaluation of workflow to identify deficiencies and streamline operations.
Experience in recommending and implementing process improvements by delivering presentations, conducting stakeholder training, and introducing updates to existing systems, processes and policies.
AND
MEET TIME IN GRADE (TIG) REQUIREMENT: You must meet applicable TIG requirements to be considered eligible. To meet TIG for positions above the GS-05 grade level, you must have served at least one year (52 weeks) at the next lower grade (or equivalent) in the normal line of progression for the position you are applying to. Advancement to positions up to GS-05 is permitted if the position to be filled is no more than two grades above the lowest grade held within the preceding 52 weeks.
NOTE: There is no substitution of education for specialized experience at the GS-13 level.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
