This position is being recruited under 10 USC 1599f into the Cyber Excepted Service and does NOT convey eligibility to be converted to the Competitive Service. It has been identified as a position necessary to carry out and support the mission of the US Cyber Command.
It is in the Supervisor Work Category at the Senior Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure. It is located in the J6 Command, Control, Communications, and Computers Enterprise (C4E)
Duties
Performs full range of supervisory personnel management responsibilities, such as signing, reviewing, and approving work; establishing organizational priorities; performing short and long-range planning; and evaluating work performance.
Serves as the CESO Program Manager for the J6 Command, Control, Communications, and Computers Directorate and makes decisions on the application of both financial and personnel resources in support of enduring and emergent requirements.
Responsibility consists of the development, acquisition, planning, execution, distribution, integrated logistics support, personnel, training, operational testing, system engineering, and implementation.
Responsible for the management of total cost of ownership of all assigned programs/projects, including the development and implementation of overall program management policies, plans, requirements, and directions
Manages expenditures and accountability of DoD and Other Government Agencies' Procurement, Operations and Maintenance, and Research, Development, Training and Evaluation (RDTE) funds for the programs assigned to the Directorate.

Qualifying Experience:
To qualify at the GG-15, your resume must describe at least one year of experience that demonstrates the competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Experience refers to any paid or unpaid experience, including volunteer work and Military service, that would be considered equivalent to work normally performed at the next lower grade level in the federal service.
