About the Position: Performs a variety of functions related to IMCOM responsibilities for the integration, service and maintenance of Army airway transportation systems in the National Airspace System (NAS) Program which pertains to fixed base air traffic control and airspace navigational aids systems and subsystems located at 34 US Army Airfields/Heliports/Landing Zones on IMCOM garrisons worldwide.

Duties

Serve as staff Airway Transportation Systems (ATS) Specialist for the Commander, US Army IMCOM responsible for coordination, oversight, and implementation of all policies and directives relating to ATS services at installation airfield/heliports. Develop and implement Installation Status Report Service 900 for garrison support requirements. Develop and present briefings, information papers and recommendations to senior leadership within IMCOM. Produce reports and keep track of statistical data and other records to use for historical data, records, and audit trails. Responsible for policy development, implementation, and oversight of the command’s Airfield/Heliport Quality Assurance Evaluation (QAE) and Self-Inspection programs as part of the Airfield Quality Assurance Program.

  • This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 25% of the time.
