About the Position: Key responsibilities include identifying specific CHMR questions, problems, and opportunities that can be addressed through advanced analytics and data science; designing and managing discrete and cross-functional research and analysis projects; cultivating and maintaining a CHMR data community of practice; identifying and cataloguing relevant and useful data sources; advising CP CoE leadership on critical trends and opportunities; and innovating data management processes.
Duties
Coordinate with the Division Director in the development and oversight of Division workplans.
Participate in long range and annual work planning.
Provide advice, counsel, and instruction to the Division Director on the alignment and execution of Division goals.
Maintain CP CoE compliance by ensuring that all managed projects adhere to security and privacy regulations and standards.
Coordinate with other CP CoE divisions and supports cross-functional and multidisciplinary efforts.
Coordinate in the shaping and advancing of the CHMR Analytic Agenda.
Develop high-quality written products and visual presentations that draw on the analysis of data to influence operational and institutional CHMR capabilities.
Coordinate and support projects using statistical tools and techniques to analyze large and complex data sets.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Incumbent will be required to participate in the Civilian Drug Testing Program.
- Occasional Temporary Duty (TDY) travel may be required.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/ Sensitive Compartmented Info. Clearance.

GS-14 Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes Integrate data management and data science methodologies to support strategic decision making within an organization; analyze data and provide recommendations on critical trends related to civilian harm and related issues; and develop and present written and visual presentations to senior leaders. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13).
