You will serve as an ORDNANCE EQUIPMENT MECHANIC SUPV II in the Weapons Maintenance Production Branch of NMCLANT ORDMAINT.

Duties

You will be accountable to the Ordnance Maintenance Manager for efficient operation of the total weapons maintenance production function. You will manage workload execution and ensure conformance to plans and funds. You will maintain liaison with program managers and In-Service Engineering Activities (ISEA) for assigned missiles, weapons, and ancillary support equipment for adequacy/accuracy. You will perform supervisory duties.

• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Qualification requirements emphasis is on quality of experience, not necessarily the length of time. Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the job elements and screen out listed below: Ability to supervise Intermediate and Depot level repair of various missile systems and associated support equipment. Thorough knowledge of explosive safety regulations of ordnance material and security regulations. This job has a screen-out element which will be used to determine minimum eligibility for this job.
