You will serve as a FACILITY OPERATIONS SPECIALIST at the Mariner Skills Training Center Pacific (MSTCPAC).
Duties
You will conduct quality control inspections of repairs, maintenance, or construction efforts performed by contractors to verify compliance with facility development.
You will evaluate facility utility systems and service requirements for maintenance standards compliance.
You will evaluate possible approaches and solutions to unusual maintenance and repair problems using technical judgment, experience, and exploration of available resources.
You will collaborate with supervisors or project managers to establish facilities work priorities.
You will analyze facility contract work to identify and resolve issues associated with projects.
You will determine allocation of resources for facilities projects or programs.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Evaluating, coordinating, and tracking the execution of federal facility security, fire, safety and environmental programs and services; 2) Planning and coordinating safety improvement measures and reporting incidents to ensure compliance with established standards; 3) Coordinating the use of facilities and buildings to maximize asset utilization; and 4) Determing funding, equipment and services required to maintain facilities and meet current/projected requirements.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience. Such education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work:
Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
or
3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
LL.M., if related
