This position is located in the Small Business Administration, Office of Field Operations, in Region VI or VIII and in Region V or VII. The incumbent manages assigned Resource Partner relationships and acts a liaison between program offices, the grant office, and grantees.
Region V - MN, WI, MI, IL, IN and Ohio District offices
Region VI - NM, TX, OK, AR, and LA District offices
Region VIII - MT, WY, UT, CO, ND, and SD District offices
Region VII - NE, KS, IA and MO District offices
Duties
Duty Locations: The salary range indicated in this announcement reflects the minimum locality pay up to maximum locality pay for all duty locations listed. The range will be adjusted for selected duty location. General Schedule locality pay tables may be found under OPM Salary & Wages.
As a Operations Liaison, GS-13, you will be responsible for:
Leading communications between the program offices and field organization to support continuous information sharing and feedback, loops supporting policy and program implementation strategies.
Serving as technical representative for compliance oversight of SBA district office Resources Partners.
Developing plans, operating procedures and standard to effectively strengthen and improving agency's field operations.
Drafting policy to support the delivery of programs in the field.
Requirements
- You must be a U.S. Citizen.
- You must be a current OFO career/conditional competitive service employee or current OFO employees serving under temporary appointments with 30% DV and Schedule A eligibility.
- You must successfully complete a background investigation.
- You may be required to serve a one-year probationary period.
Qualifications
GS-13: One year of specialized experience, equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service, obtained in either the private or public sector:
Leads communications between program offices and field organizations. initiatives that reach a wide variety of audiences; and
Manage assigned resource partner relationship and act as a liaison between program offices; and
Serves as a field technical representative responsible for compliance oversight of SBA district office Resources Partners.
