Duties

Incumbent is responsible for the maintenance, repair and conditioning of the entire playing area of the golf course. Directing and supervising subordinate employees in phases of course maintenance to include mowing, fertilizing and maintaining tees, fairways, greens, and roughs. Supervises the cleaning, painting and general repair of buildings, fences, bridges, and shelters directly affecting golf play to include the completion of general landscaping projects.

Requirements

• A one year probationary period may be required.
• Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
• Must obtain within the first 6 months a DOD Pest Management Certificate with the first 6 months

• Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2 to include a Tier 1 background investigation.

Qualifications

Work experience performing duties as described above. Must be able to obtain a DOD Pest Management Certificate. Working knowledge of chemicals used on insects and for weeds and brush control.
