You will serve as a Motor Vehicle Operator in the Transportation Department, Operations Division of NAVFAC SOUTHWEST.

Duties
You will transport equipment, aircraft, aircraft components, Deep Submergence Rescue Vehicles (DSRV), personnel, refuse, and materials, including; recyclables, hazardous materials, and or wastes requiring placards.
You will operate vehicles with an approximate gross weight up to 150,000 pounds when transporting hazardous waste, equipment, or materials.
You will load and arrange cargo for safe transit on public roads at highway speeds or similar driving circumstances.
You will follow established practices to provide continuously safe and reliable operation of vehicles and equipment.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.
- This position may require occasional travel from normal duty station. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft.
