You will serve as a SUPERVISORY AIRFIELD OPERATIONS SPECIALIST in the Operations Department of NAVSTA.
Duties
You will administer directives and policies to accomplish the work and mission of the Air Operations Department and the Department of the Navy.
You will navigate transportation solutions towards desired results while maintaining strong working relationships with others to accomplish mission goals.
You will review newly mandated or proposed travel legislation or regulations to determine the impact on the organization's program administration.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Using accounting principles and procedures to process fiscal accounting documents. 2) Analyzing budgetary issues in order to develop solutions that resolve conflicts with the projected goals and objectives of an aviation program. 3) Relaying management directives related to an aviation program through oral and written communications. 4) Performing management processes (i.e., procurement and contract administration, systems analysis, inspection/audit procedures, staff supervision, etc. ) to support a broad range of aviation technical specialties.
