Duties
Oversees a group of Program Analysts who perform budgeting, personnel, , and management programs in support of assigned DLA Aviation organizations.
Provides the program budgetary oversight for the assigned organizations including the formulation, execution and review and analysis of programs which directly support the logistics program, primary mission of DLA Aviation.
Oversees the management of the, overtime, awards and organization management to include personnel actions and organizational alignment packages.
Plans the work to be accomplished by subordinates, sets and adjusts short-term priorities, and prepares schedules for completion of work.
Develops and discusses budgetary and program plans with Directors and managers involving either future requirements or current needs and program prioritization and justification.

Qualifications
To qualify for a Supervisory Program Analyst your resume and supporting documentation must support:
A. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. To qualify at the GS-13 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes:
Ability to direct a program office which oversees budgets, prepares personnel actions
Experience reviewing, analyzing, programing, formulating, and executing budgets of several directorates taking into account their manpower requirements and demand based workload forecasts.
Ability to plan the work of an office by giving advice, counsel and/or instruction to subordinate staff on work and administrative matters
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
Education
Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
