This position is located in the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, Office of the Deputy Commissioner for Trademark Administration. The Office of the Commissioner for Trademarks is responsible for leading the agency efforts to meet strategic goals involving trademark registration pendency and quality, and for organizational excellence. This position provides a wide variety of administrative management functions in support of the Trademarks organization's mission.

The physical worksite for this position is located in Alexandria, Virginia.This position is telework eligible per agency and business unit discretion/policy.

Qualifications
You must meet the United States Office of Personnel Management's (OPM) qualification requirements (including specialized experience and/or educational requirements) for the advertised position. Specialized Experienceis experience that has equipped applicants with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the next lower grade level in the federal service. For this position, the next lower grade level is a GS-12.
Specialized experience for this position includes:
Experience with reviewing laws, regulations and policies of programs to advise senior management including drafting and justifying conclusions in the areas of budget, human resources, information technology, procurement, property, records management, and corporate/government travel.
Experience with independently conducting reviews of budget formulation, execution, and financial analysis.
Experience with overseeing administrative processes and programs in an organization to make recommendations for the overall effectiveness for program operations.
