Serves as the Financial Reporting Analysis Execution Section Head for Future Operations Branch, Marine and Family Programs Division (MF), Headquarters Marine Corps.

Qualifications
Bachelor¿s degree in Business Administration, Finance or Public Administration, or a related field such as Accounting appropriate to the work of position and four years of experience in the occupation, or a related field or work area, OR an appropriate combination of education and experience that demonstrates possession of knowledge and skill equivalent to that gained in the above, OR appropriate experience that demonstrates that the applicant has acquired the knowledge, skills and abilities equivalent to that gained in the above. Skill to: provide expert advice on, implement and monitor financial planning, programming, budgeting and execution using an automated system. Knowledge of Defense Agency Initiative (DAI); Defense Travel System (DTS); the USMC Programming Budget Information System (PBIS); NAF financial system (Fusion) and Peoplesoft and the USMC organizational structure preferred. Skill to effectively represent MCCS and the Marine Corps in senior level meetings, presentations, discussions and dialogue, and deal effectively with senior staff personnel at all levels regarding budgetary issues. Skill to: prepare and present multi-year budget plans and forecasts; analyze, interpret and apply complex policies and regulations in developing budgeting plans and policies; gather, assemble, consolidate and analyze financial data and draw conclusions to resolve complex issues or problems and provide recommendations and process improvements. Skill to: analyze and evaluate automated accounting systems, monitor workflow processes, and analyze trends to provide status of operations; make improvements, correct deficiencies and assist in program development, assessment, and evaluation. Knowledge of and experience in federal acquisition planning and execution to ensure fiscal integrity of operations, accuracy of reports, adequacy of controls and compliance with federal laws and regulations. Knowledge of and experience in budgeting and finding effective solutions to unique and/or complex situations to ensure fiscal integrity of operations, accuracy of reports, adequacy of controls and compliance with federal laws and regulations. Experience supervising employees in the accomplishment of work.Telework: Eligible for incremental telework as determined by MF policy.
