The purpose of this position is to serve as Financial Management Specialist for DCSA's Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO) as the Deputy Chief of Staff. This position supports (OCFO) leadership by managing budget, space and resource considerations, policy and process implementation and the life cycle support to agency and Directorate level requirements.

- Temporary duty (TDY) travel is required.
- This is a critical-sensitive position, incumbent must be able to obtain/maintain a TS/SCI
clearance.
- This is a drug testing-designated position. Incumbent will be placed in a drug testing
pool and will be subject to random testing.
- Once certified, the incumbent must meet the continuing education training requirement as outlined in DoDI 1300.26

Applicant must have directly applicable experience that demonstrates the possession of the knowledge, skills, abilities and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Qualifying experience may have been acquired in any public or private sector job, but will clearly demonstrate past experience in the application of the particular competencies/knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to successfully perform the duties of the position.
You must have specialized experience sufficient to demonstrate that you have acquired all the competencies necessary to perform at a level equivalent in difficulty, responsibility, and complexity to the next lower grade (GS/GG-14) in the Federal service and are prepared to take on greater responsibility.
Generally, this would include one year or more of such specialized experience.
Specialized experience for this position includes:
Experience working in budgets, project management, and space and resource management
Experience in strategic budget planning, programming, budgeting and/or execution processes to meet short and long-term goals/objectives.
Experience and skill in planning, organizing, developing, directing, and executing special complex projects.
Experience managing and serving as primary for task management systems (CATMS or CATMS equivalent systems) with demonstrated history of successfully managing, monitoring, coordinating and closing taskings in a timely manner (both internal and external).
Experience and In-depth ability to direct and coordinate a wide variety of activities concurrently.
Experience and skills in oral and written communications to prepare, present, and explain complex information, recommendations, and findings.
