Primary purpose of this position is to serve as the primary POC to the squadron commander/director for all admin support pgrms to include but not limited to task mgmt, cybersecurity liaison (CL), Govt. Travel Card (GTC) prgm, Defense Travel System (DTS) admin, drug demand reduction pgrm, health care pgrm, fitness pgrm, Govt. Purchase Card (GPC) pgrm, safety pgrm, Automated Data Processing Equipment (ADPE) accounts, security pgrm, supply pgrm, civilian timecard pgrm and unit recognition pgrm.
Duties
DUTY 1: Directly assists the commander/director in the management of all administrative support program functions.
DUTY 2: Serves as the resident subject matter expert for all mandated administrative support programs.
DUTY 3: Serves as the organizational point of contact and liaison with the personnel flight on military and civilian personnel issues.
DUTY 4: Assists in planning, administering, and monitoring manpower resource requirements.
DUTY 5: Performs other clerical and administrative work in support of the office/organization.

Qualifications
This is a GG-07 position in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). The GG-07 duties for the "Professional" work category are at the "Full Performance" work level and are equivalent to those at the GS-07 level. The selectee's salary will be set within the grade equivalent to a GS/GG grade based on the selectee's qualifications in relation to the job.
In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Clerical and Administrative Support Positions.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Your resume must reflect the quality level of experience which demonstrates the possession of the knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for successful job performance required for this position. Examples of creditable experience include knowledge of a body of standardized rules, procedures, or operations requiring considerable training and experience to perform the full range of standard clerical and non-clerical assignments and resolve recurring problems; and the skill, acquired through considerable training and experience, to operate and adjust varied equipment for purposes such as performing numerous standardized tests or operations. Note: Creditable experience may include previous military experience, experience gained in the private sector, or experience gained in another government agency.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
Knowledge of the organizational and functional responsibilities and operations of an organization.
Knowledge of various office automation software programs, tools, and techniques to support office operations and produce a variety of documents such as letters, reports, spreadsheets, databases, and graphs.
Knowledge of security practices for ensuring the safeguarding of classified information in a complex security environment.
Knowledge of structure, programs and work methods of organization for personnel/manning issues.
Skill in fact-finding, problem analysis, problem resolutions, and development of concrete action plans to solve problems.
Ability to gather, analyze and present facts, communicate effectively, using tact and courtesy and possess the ability to plan, organize work, and meet deadlines and ability to plan and organize management programs and functions of an organization.
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT CONT.
Security: Position is designated special-sensitive and requires eligibility for access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), other intelligence-related Special Sensitive information, or involvement in Top Secret Special Access Programs (SAP) to fully perform the duties and responsibilities of the position. A non-disclosure agreement must be signed.
Drug Testing: This position has been designated by the Air Force as a Testing Designated Position (TDP) under the Air Force Civilian Testing Program. Employee must pass initial and periodic short notice drug testing. Illegal drug use by employees in sensitive positions presents a clear threat to the mission of the Air Force, national security, and public safety.
PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.
VOLUNTEER WORK EXPERIENCE: Refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service Programs (i.e., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student and social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
