About the Position: As the Identity and Data Management Specialist, implements Department of Defense (DoD) and Army policies and procedures to ensure an effective and efficient program that supports current and planned operations and Sensitive Activities (SA).
Duties
Provides direction, control, and policy guidance related to assigned elements of the Operations Support Branch (OSB).
Provides input into assigned Operations Support Branch program elements.
Maintains knowledge of current developments and technologies, which may serve to improve management and administrative processes in assigned information management and Identity and Data Management program elements.
Develops supplemental instructional, training, and Records Management materials related to assigned programs for use by management personnel at the command.
Interprets, analyzes and evaluates service and joint requirements, then identifies and develops courses of action to meet mission requirements.
Plans and develops policies and procedures for accomplishing key Identity and Data Management work.
Periodically conducts special studies and/or surveys at installation activities relative to assigned Identity and Data Management program elements, which would typically involve complex problems or process improvements.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Must obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Top-Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. This position requires a Sensitive Compartmented Info. Intelligence Community Dir.
- A pre-employment background investigation that includes contact with all references, employers, co-workers, personal associates, and a review of your driving record, credit history, criminal history, and military service are required.
- The duties of this position meet the criteria for compliance with Federal and Department of the Army Drug Free Workplace Programs. Detection of the presence of drugs is warranted.
- This position is subject to a pre-employment screening, and random testing thereafter, to include testing based on reasonable suspicion and testing due to direct involvement with an on-duty accident.
- This position has a travel requirement of 20% (TAD/TDY).

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower broadband NH-02 or equivalent grade (GS-11) in the Federal service which includes 1) leading an Identity and Data Management Program capable of supporting deployment and redeployment of anywhere in the world on short notice; 2) providing Identity and Data Management services; AND 3) managing an Identity and Data Management Program, which includes operations management, records management, multiple organization coordination, and other management information services. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (NH-02 or GS-11).
Education
