Duties

You will communicate daily with customer and coordinating all maintenance services for assigned facilities. You will screen all work requirements considering issues of safety, urgency, priority, health and security and recommend or initiate appropriate action to properly maintain the facility and minimize life cycle costs. You will maintain budget oversight. You will review projects that impact assigned facilities in scope, complexity, and design. You will be responsible for communicating customer concerns and desires. You will answer customer concerns and questions regarding their facilities requirements.

Requirements

  • You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.
  • May be designated as ALPHA personnel and required to report for duty or held in a duty status to provide support before, during, after special emergency situations such as destructive weather, disasters or periods of an increased security threat

Qualifications

Grade 11: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-10 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1 - Communicate daily with customer and coordinating all maintenance services for assigned facilities. 2 - Administers the emergency, urgent, and routine calls for assigned facilities. Screen all work requirements considering issues of safety, urgency, priority, health and security and recommend or initiate appropriate action to properly maintain the facility and minimize life cycle costs. 3 - Maintain budget oversight. Responsible for tracking estimates and expenditures and implementing controls necessary to keep budget execution in line. 4 - Review projects that impact assigned facilities in scope, complexity, and design to ensure that sound engineering principles are utilized, and that work is compatible with existing facility systems and customer mission. 5 - Responsible for communicating customer concerns and desires so that proper customer focus will be incorporated in the funding decision making process. Makes recommendations for prioritizing projects to ensure that the needs of the tenants are met regarding mission requirements and other high impact or command interest issues. Answers customer concerns and questions regarding their facilities requirements. Grade 10: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1 - Communicate daily with customer and coordinating all maintenance services for assigned facilities. 2 - Screen all work requirements considering issues of safety, urgency, priority, health and security and recommend or initiate appropriate action to properly maintain the facility and minimize life cycle costs. 3 - Maintain budget oversight. Responsible for tracking estimates and expenditures and implementing controls necessary to keep budget execution in line. 4 - Review projects that impact assigned facilities in scope, complexity, and design to ensure that sound engineering principles are utilized, and that work is compatible with existing facility systems and customer mission. 5 - Responsible for communicating customer concerns and desires so that proper customer focus will be incorporated in the funding decision making process.
