Duties

Assists patrons by providing information concerning available leisure activities, selling tickets, making reservations and arranging for special accommodations required for tours, sporting events, theaters and special events. Provides full assistance to individuals planning travel itineraries not requiring commercial transportation, including hotel reservations and other local service or information. Maintains brochures, price listings and related information for customer use. Receives payment, issues receipts and documents business transactions. Performs related administrative support duties.

Requirements

• Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
• Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
• A one year probationary period may be required.
• Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
• Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2.
• Incumbent may also required to complete a Tier 1 background investigation for a Common Access Card for physical access to federally controlled facilities.
• Credit check is required.

Qualifications

Experience which involved dealing with the general public and performing financial transactions. Highly Qualified Criteria: Experience in a Travel Office, Ticketing Office or Hospitality Services. Preferred experience on a GDS system. Advanced skills in MS applications including CRM and other software and IOS programs. ***Those applicants that meet the highly qualified criteria will be sent to the hiring managers first***
