About the Position: This position is located in the US Army Sustainment Command, 407th Army Field Support Brigade on Fort Sill. OK.
Duties
Coordinates travel requests for various Fort Sill units and all reserve components within Fort Sill.
Maintains knowledge of and utilizes automated systems peculiar to the movement of personnel such as Sabre System, GATES Global Automated Transportation Execution System (GATES) and group travel passenger travel (GOPAX)
Provides technical advice and assistance to the Commercial Travel Office (CTO), dependents, individuals, and groups.
Arranges travel services and provides guidance on entitlements and documentation requirements for individuals traveling on official orders.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- A National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) Background Investigation is required.
- Temporary duty travel of up to 25% may be required

In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or esperience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Specialized Experience: Specialized experience is defined as experience that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled such as 1) Assist with official movement arrangements for personnel travel using different modes of transportation for various locations in accordance with regulations; 2) Utilize automated system to prepare reports, forms, transportation documents, and routine correspondence for the movement of personnel; 3) Assist reviewing terms of contracts to determine the most effective arrangements for transporting passengers and material for the commercial travel office; and 4) Review travel orders for the organization for funding travel movements of personnel. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07).

Education: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position such as accounting, business administration, business or commercial law, commerce, economics, engineering, finance, industrial management, statistics, traffic management, transportation, motor mechanics, or other fields related to the position. Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages. (Note: You must attach a copy of your transcripts.)
