This Disaster Assistance Directorate has direct responsibility for one of the Department's most critical missions: delivery of recovery assistance to victims of disaster from all causes under the authority of the Robert T. Stafford Disaster Relief and Emergency Act. The incumbent serves as the Program Support Assistant in the Public Assistance Division of the Disaster Assistance Directorate.

Qualifications

To qualify for this Program Support Assistant position at the IC-07 level, you must possess one full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the IC-05 level in the Federal government, which has equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position. Experience may be obtained in the federal government, a state or local government, or private sector, and must demonstrate the following: Making travel arrangements, maintaining calendars, scheduling meetings, and/or organizing files. Utilizing electronic software for tracking, managing correspondence, reports, and/or presentations.
