There is one position located in the Division of Resolutions & Receiverships (DRR), Resolution Strategy Branch of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation as follows:

Salary reflects a pay cap for this position of $275,000.
Duties
Manages and directs the work associated with the analysis of financial information, corporate structure, asset mix, deposit mix, capitalization structure, physical and intangible assets and financial and managerial practices of financial institutions insured by the FDIC to prepare Strategic Resolution Plans, develop resolution strategies and ascertain the value and risks inherent to the insured institution.
Manages and directs inter-divisional teams in the development and monitoring of business plans for new receiverships. Creates and reviews business plans for complex receiverships, outlining the overall financial goals and objectives intended to lead to the ultimate termination of receiverships. Develops asset disposition strategies and other asset marketing efforts related to receiverships operations.
Organizes, plans, participates in, or facilitates meetings with FDIC officials, attorneys, accountants; contractors, representatives of financial institution or other private sector business management, potential acquirers and/ or other federal and state regulatory agency officials.
Reviews the effectiveness of programs designed to manage failing institutions or receiverships and makes recommendations for improving resolutions techniques.
Organizes the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to the work of the division in the area of large financial institution resolutions and receivership activities, including policy recommendations and program changes to enhance efficiency.
Organizes, plans and coordinates initiatives to improve the systems, reporting mechanisms, databases, and other information sources required for monitoring and evaluating receivership operations. Identify further system enhancements that will improve efficiencies, automation and management information-related systems.

Qualifications
To meet the minimum qualifications, applicants must possess the leadership and technical experiences listed below. These qualifications would typically be gained through serving in roles that require managing projects/teams or guiding the technical work of others.
Qualifying experience may be obtained in the private or public sector. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic, religious/spiritual; community; student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

Leadership Experience: Experience in leading and coordinating projects, including establishing expectations, reviewing work products/services, monitoring progress, and providing guidance and feedback to team members.
Technical Experience: Experience in leading collaborative efforts in developing and implementing major policy and program changes in the area of large or complex financial institution resolutions and receivership activities.
