You will serve as a TRAINING SPECIALIST at the MAYPORT LEARNING SITE (LS) of CENTER FOR SECURITY FORCES.
Duties
You will evaluate curriculum and instruction to identify developmental and training needs of the organization.
You will plan training initiatives (e.g., Surveillance Detection training and Anti-Terrorism Level I training) and annual exercise requirements according to an organization's or agency's policy.
You will cooperate with diverse entities such as military, civilian, and interagency organizations to conduct planning for advanced special operations training and exercises.
You will coordinate training exercises with training team for organizational readiness.
Requirements

- Skilled in the operation, maintenance, and marksmanship fundamentals related to small arms.
- Qualified marksman with rifle, pistol, shotgun.
- Wearing protective clothing and eye protection is required.
- Occasional travel via commercial or government aircraft is required.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Serving as an authoritative consultant and point of contact for all High-risk Force Protection academic and practical training matters. 2) Performing organizational operation, execution, and financial expenditures, including instructional delivery, course sequencing, manpower, contract support, logistics, facilities, resources, etc.; 3) Serving as a 805A/ Basic Instructor or equivalent with expert skills in force protection programs and tactics with special emphasis on Navy, Marine Corps, and DoD AT/FP directives, policies, programs, and instructions; 4) Supervises motivates, trains and works effectively with subordinates and peers who have a variety of backgrounds and training; 5) Utilizing oral and written communication on a professional level in order to effectively convey ideas in a clear, concrete, and concise manner; and 6) Operating computer software including word processing, spreadsheet, and data management appropriate for each task.
