About the Position: Position is responsible for performing, providing, obtaining, and/or advising the Casualty and Mortuary Affairs Operations Division (CMAOD). Position is in Human Resources Command (HRC), The Adjutant General Division (TAGD), at Fort Knox, Kentucky.
Duties
Maintain the short and long-range calendars which are utilized by the division leadership team.
Provide analysis, coordination, and disposition of suspense actions.
Utilize automated systems to enter, maintain and retrieve organizational and/or program data.
Prepare a variety of correspondence, reports, memoranda, military evaluation reports.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.

In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or excperience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes:1) Verifying correspondences and/or reports are grammatically correct; 2) Analyze data using an automated system to develop recommendations for improvement; 3) Manage a calendar and/or schedule in order to ensure deadlines are met; 4) Interpret company policy and/or procedures in order to enforce guidance to individuals. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07).
OR
Education: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: Business and/or Human Resources.
OR
Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages.
