This position is located in the Air Traffic Organization, Mission Support Services, Western Service Area, Planning and Requirements Group (PRG), Portfolio Management and Integration (PMI) Team (AJV-W31).

Duties

The Portfolio Management & Integration Team is responsible for providing integrated planning, requirements management, and program implementation management support to assist Air Traffic Organization (ATO) Service Units, and other FAA organizations with implementing and managing ATO services and infrastructure within the Service Areas. This includes the identification and management of the interdependencies between programs and projects at individual sites or groups of facilities.

Qualifications

To qualify for this position you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower level of FV-I or FG/GS-13. Specialized experience includes: Experience gained in positions within organizations that are responsible for the planning, funding, and delivery of capital investment projects at individual sites or groups of facilities, and management of the interdependencies between FAA programs. This experience may be acquired through functions such as the acquisition and development of NAS programs and systems, the development and execution of projects related to the operations and maintenance functions in FAA field facilities, and the mitigation of impacts to NAS systems and operations caused by projects executed by external (non-FAA) organizations.Applicants should include examples of specialized experience in their work historyQualifications must be met by the closing date of this vacancy announcement.Please ensure you answer all questions and follow all instructions carefully.
