This position is located in the Division of Risk Management Supervision, Operations Branch of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and provides support in the areas of Entry-Level Examiner Hiring (ELEH) program.

Duties
Serves as the administrator who plans, organizes and executes the ELEH events. Records outcomes of candidates’ performance on various assessments and collaborates with the Division of Risk Management Supervision (RMS) and Division of Depositor and Consumer Protection (DCP) personnel to share candidates’ results. Coordinates the training and scheduling of Subject Matter Experts (SME), interviewers and reference checkers for each Entry-Level Examiner Hiring (ELEH) event.
Research and/or analyzes problems relating to ELEH operations to proactively address issues.
Plans and/or accomplishes special projects related to the ELEH onboarding process. Manages special projects that have a broad impact on the ELEH program.
Prepares FIS recruitment/tracking/status reports via automated reporting systems for Corporation leadership and stakeholders.
Participates in the development of internal policies and guidance relating to onboarding and FIS orientation, analyzes feedback and provides recommendations to senior management.
Provides guidance and reviews the work of other Program Specialists related to the onboarding process and FIS orientation.
Manages and/or prepares responses to correspondence and serves as liaison on administrative issues pertaining to the onboarding and orientation procedures of the ELEH program. Provides advice to Chief, Entry-Level Examiner Hiring, and Team Lead on complex ELEH administrative program issues. Identifies relevant issues based on operational and changing program requirements. Collects relevant data from various sources and makes recommendations to senior management.
Qualifications
Qualifying experience may be obtained in the private or public sector. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic, religious/spiritual; community; student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. To qualify, applicants must have completed at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the 11 grade level or above in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as experience providing administrative support for projects or a workload for an organization, identifying areas for process improvement, and tracking activities or projects to completion; and providing services for recruitment, administration, project management, and other administrative assignments.
