Duties
You will perform a wide variety of office automation responsibilities such as various word processing assignments; the use of graphic and database programs; revision/review of naval correspondences and instructions.
You will review all Aviation Training Forms (ATF) for correctness to include verbiage, spelling and grammatical errors and inconsistencies.
You will monitor, track and update training records and routine data input via the Tango Sierra Hotel Aviation Readiness Program (T-SHARP) training management system.
You will Update the monthly training plan with instructor's flight hours, syllabus event qualifications, off-line standardization exams and evaluations coming up for renewal.
You will provide administrative support for Naval Aviation Training Operations procedures, correspondence, maintenance of manuals, directives and instruction for Student Military Aviators, Instructor Pilots and Cadre Training Instructors.
You will prepare training manual packets, grade and file training examinations and brief Student Military Aviators and Instructor Pilots on Ground Training Division operations procedures and requirements.
Requirements

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
For the GS-05 position: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-04) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing a variety of office automation duties (e.g. data input, customer service, data gathering, preparing reports, correspondence, and maintaining files), utilizing various systems and databases to support the corporate/organizational/command mission and goals; Planning, organizing, and prioritizing work to meet deadlines; Typing to produce the full range of office automation work.
For the GS-04 position: Your resume must demonstrate one year of generalexperience in federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector that demonstrates progressively responsible clerical, office, or other work that indicates ability to acquire the particular knowledge and skills needed to perform the duties of the position to be filled.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
For the GS-05 level: successfully completing 4 years of education above high school. or a combination of experience and education.
For the GS-04 level: successfully completing 2 years of education above high school or a combination of experience and education.
OR
A combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience (A transcript must be submitted with your application if qualifying using education)
