You will serve as a Supervisory Training Operations Support Assistant in the Training Department, Commander Training Air Wing FIVE of TRAWING FIVE.
You will oversee all Ground Training Division Student Control and Testing functions including supervision of all employee training, employee scheduling, Training Integration Management System entries, classroom instructor certifications, publication inventory and controlled issue, computerized testing backup and physical security procedures.
Duties
You will provide supervision and oversight of four GS- 0303-05 Training Operations Support Assistants, supporting the ground training requirements of six aviation training squadrons and two instructor training units.
You will set work and rotation schedules, approve leave requests, makes work assignments adjusting daily priorities, conducts new hire training, performs technical oversight and provides quality assurance on subordinate?s work products.
You will perform a wide variety of office automation responsibilities such as word processing assignments; use of graphic and database programs; revision/review of naval correspondences and instructions; records and filing support.
You will maintain a complete and current inventory of all required publications and training aids.
You will prepare book-issue packets for the new student check-in dates and brief Student Military Aviators (SMAs) on ground training requirements.
You will collect and route Student Military Aviator's evaluation forms; assist with ground training event input in Training Integration Management System (TIMS); and assist with proctoring, collection, scoring and filing of paper exams.
You will coordinate and track classrooms and learning center usage to ensure resources are available and maintain and electronically file academic schedules.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

- This position requires the ability to lift and/or carry loads/items up to 40 pounds in weight.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or equivalent pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector executing administrative functions for a training program using automated software (e.g., generating reports, updating employee training records, scheduling exams, issuing classroom instructor certifications, data input, personnel support) to ensure administrative operations are accurate, timely and adhere to program requirements.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
Successful completion of one academic year of graduate education in a course of study that directly reflects the job-related KSAs/competencies necessary to satisfy the minimum qualifications and perform the duties of the position;
OR
a combination of graduate education as described above and experience that equates to one year of experience.
