As a Information Specialist, you will:
Initiate independent studies regarding processing and data-flow procedures in support of Multifamily Regional housing data systems.
Assure that data base management functions are performed for each system in accordance with system procedures and handbooks.
Effect timely resolution of especially complex or unique data quality problems identified in Headquarters, notifying Headquarters of any deficiencies or inadequacies in the standard tools and procedures provided.
Compile, monitor, and maintain assisted housing data on an on-going periodic basis to assure that current information is available to the Operations Officer.
Qualifications
You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement.
For the GS-13, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes:
- Planning, developing, and implementing projects involving management of information systems; AND
- Providing technical assistance to management on management information system applications; AND
- Preparing reports by analyzing and extracting information from multiple data sources.
Experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis.
