You will serve as a Equal Employment Opportunity Specialist in the Equal Employment Opportunity, Equal Opportunity, Diversity & Inclusion, N003EO Fort Meade, MD of US FLEET CYBER COMMAND.
All Defense Intelligence positions under the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS) are in the excepted service by specific statute, 10 U.S.C. 1601. This position is in the excepted service and does not confer competitive status.
Duties
You will review regulations and provide responses to EEO related questions and inquiries.
You will research appropriate regulations and guidelines when necessary and advise specialist of findings.
You will maintain data in relevant Department of Navy databases for claimant programs.
You will prepare reports by obtaining appropriate demographic data utilizing spreadsheets, graphs, slides and other presentation formats, as required.
You will interpret the Federal EEO laws, policies and regulations and implementing instructions for administration of a discrimination complaint process for both individual and class complaints.
You will make recommendations on Reasonable Accommodations requests.
Requirements

- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

- You must obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance and access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI). Failure to do so may result in the withdrawal of an offer or removal. Indicate the level and date of your clearance in your resume.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or pass the test. You will be subject to random testing.

Qualifications
FOR GG-0260-11 POSITION:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GG/GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 11. Participate in planning and evaluating EEO Programs; 2. Interpret the Federal EEO laws, policies and regulations and implementing instructions for administration the reasonable accommodation (RA) process; 3. Analyze RA requests and assist management in generating sound responses; 4. Prepare reports and makes recommendations.
FOR GG-0260-09 POSITION:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GG/GS-07) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrating the following: 11. Provides EEO counseling to less complex complaints; 2. Review regulations and provides basic responses to EEO and RA related questions and inquiries; 3. Research appropriate regulations and guidelines when necessary; 4. Maintain data in NEAT database for RA program; 5. Prepare reports by obtaining appropriate demographic data utilizing spreadsheets, graphs, slides and other presentation formats, as required.
