You will serve as a GG-1801-15 Supervisory Inspector General at Forte Meade, MD, where you will function as an Audit Liaison to the US FLEET CYBER COMMAND enterprise, and provide expert technical advice and guidance to the Commander, Deputy Commander, and Senior Staff on inspections and investigations.
Duties
You will serve as an Audit Liaison to the Fleet Cyber command enterprise's subordinate commands, field activities, and forward elements.
You will provide expert technical advice and guidance to the Commander, Deputy Commander, and Senior Staff on inspections and investigations as the Inspector General.
You will direct workflow and priorities to ensure timely accomplishment of the Inspector General Office's mission by mitigating risk and optimizing enterprise readiness through professional Inspector General products and services.
You will supervise the Inspector General staff and perform technical, administrative, and management tasks and provide provide justification, direction, and allocation of resources (people, budget, material).
You will develop the objectives, policy, and guidance for and maintain oversight of the command’s Inspection Program.
You will conduct investigations, including hotline investigations, military whistleblower reprisal investigations, investigations in response to Congressional inquiries, and other investigations.
You will review feedback, findings, and recommendations from the auditing agency and provide concurrence, as appropriate, for recommendations.
Requirements

- You must obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance and access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI). Failure to do so may result in the withdrawal of an offer or removal. Indicate the level and date of your clearance in your resume.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or pass the test. You will be subject to random testing.

- All Defense Intelligence positions under the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS) are in the excepted service by specific statute, 10 U.S.C. 1601. This position is in the excepted service and does not confer competitive status.
- This position requires a periodic polygraph examination.
- This position may require a 2-year DCIPS trial period.
- CONUS and OCONUS travel required, up to 25%.
- Candidate must successfully obtain Naval Inspector General (NAVIG) certification within five years.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GG/GS-14 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector, such as:
1. Conduct complex investigations and direct investigation teams in the performance of hotline investigations, whistleblower reprisal investigations, investigations in response to Congressional inquiries, and other investigations.
2. Perform as an Audit Liaison to oversee and track audit follow up actions; review feedback, findings, and recommendations from the auditing agency; and provide concurrence for recommendations.
3. Provide expert technical advice and guidance on inspections, investigations, and policies and practices as the principal advisor to senior leadership.
4. Supervise inspection teams and perform technical, administrative, and management tasks to direct workflow and priorities.
5. Develop the objectives, policy, and guidance for the inspection program, maintain program oversight, and perform continuing program review, analysis, and appraisal.
