You will serve as an Inspector/Investigator at the GG-13 grade level, located in the Office of the Inspector General, Commander, U.S. Fleet Cyber Command (FCC) and is involved in inspections, investigations, assistance, and minor audit liaison functions with key responsibilities for all aspects of planning, organizing, promoting and directing inspections, investigations, and audit coordination.
Duties
You will perform duties as a Team Leader for several annual Navy inspections and will be responsible for analyzing and identifying corrective actions and making recommendations for improvement.
You will perform inspector duties for multi-agency/service Joint inspections as well as evaluates the command's knowledge of management practices used in the U.S. Fleet Cyber Command (FCC) and Joint NSA/CSS inspection programs.
You will coordinate, prepare, and analyze inspection, hotline allegations and congressional inquiries.
You will receive and evaluate hotline complaints from various sources both internal and external to the organization.
You will serves as audit liaison for the staff/subordinate commands and provides Inspector General (IG) guidance on all matters within the U.S. Fleet Cyber Command (FCC) area of responsibility.
You will analyze, evaluate and integrate data from multiple areas and sources to produce unique and innovative management assessments and conclusions.
You will interface with senior military and civilian personnel inside and outside the U.S. Fleet Cyber Command (FCC) staff in the course of completing assigned duties.
You will lead and organize large inspection teams and coordinates complete inspection/investigation processes to include self-assessments and follow-ups for effectiveness and efficiency.
You will prepare, review, and issue written inspection and investigation reports
You will serve as the assistant staff Point of Contact for the coordination of external surveys and annual audit risk and opportunity assessments.
You will serve and the "acting" Inspector General (IG) during the absence of the IG when the IG is traveling on inspections and out of the office.
You will interface with Directorate Heads, Flag-level leadership, and outside agencies and services when serving as the "acting" Inspector General (IG).
You will coordinate non-criminal investigative matters with personnel and agencies within and outside of Fleet Cyber Command and its enterprise.
You will utilize information systems and/or software applications, such as word processing, spreadsheets, automated research tools, database applications and the internet.
Requirements

- This position may require a 2-year DCIPS Trial Period.
- This position may require a Counter-Intelligence (CI) scope polygraph examination with No Deception Indicated (NDI).
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS/GG-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing duties such as:
Organizing, analyzing, interpreting and evaluating non-criminal investigative information that impact the command and its enterprise and make recommendations to senior leadership.
Obtaining and recording specific detailed information relating to complaints, which may allege fraud, waste, abuse, mismanagement and/or misconduct of employees, policies and programs.
Researching, reviewing, and analyzing laws, regulations and other standards which fall under the umbrella of administrative investigations.
Preparing, reviewing, and issuing written inspection and investigation reports and briefs.
