This position is part of the Defense Security Cooperation Agency. The incumbent will be responsible for responsible for working with acquisition officials for the development and execution of an acquisition plan to support project development and sustainment which includes procurement of hardware and soft ware to support assigned AlS.
Duties
As a IT PROGRAM MANAGER at the GS-2210-14 some of your typical work assignments may include:
Evaluating the effectiveness and efficiency of AIS in supporting SA programs reviewing cost, risk, return on investment, and customer support
Planning, coordinating, and implementing current and long-range objectives, budgetary limitations and other new requirements for AIS.
Developing the plan and schedule for the analysis, design, development, testing, user training, installation and implementation of assigned AIS or upgrades.
Overseeing the management of various Automated Information Systems (AIS) including their scopes, resources(human, financial, contract, physical), schedule, quality, performance, requirements, risks, information assurance, marketing, process improvement, customer support, reporting, enterprise architecture

Qualifications
You may qualify at the GS-14 grade level , if you fulfill the following qualifications:
A. One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service:
Overseeing the management of various information systems including their scopes, resources, performance, and enterprise architecture.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
Education
Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
