About the Position: Serves as Accountable Officer/Supply Operation subject matter expert to the Director, Logistics Readiness Center (LRC) and supported units.
Duties
Serves as Accountable Officer/Supply Operation subject matter expert to the Director of the LRC and supported units utilizing the GCSS-A to account for and manage the property assets of the LRC, ASA, and Tenant Activities.
Ensures the update and currency of hand receipts and audit trail records for all accountable property and reconciles hand receipts with the property book.
Plans, assigns work, and evaluates work performance of subordinates; establishes deadlines and priorities based on the workflow, difficulty of the work, and capabilities of employees, and policies set by higher levels of supervision.
Works with installation staff, AMC, and higher headquarters to obtain increased Tactical Related Applications Program (TRAP) equipment through loans, requisitions, or lateral transfers.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Position will require occasional evening, weekend, and/or holiday hours, to include mandatory overtime as mission dictates.
- Must possess and maintain a valid state Driver’s License.
- Temporary Duty (TDY) travel may be required up to 10% of the time.

In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below. Specialized Experience GS11: One year of specialized experience which includes experience in performing a variety of technical supply management duties such as maintaining inventory control records utilizing an automated property management system; and reviewing and reconciling inventory authorizations to ensure accuracy. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-09).

Education: Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position; i.e., Logistics, etc. Note: You must attach a copy of your transcripts for verification.
OR
Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the second year (total graduate semester hours minus 36) by 18. Add the two percentages.
