About the Position: This position serves as a Supply Technician in the Supply Section of the Work Management Branch in the Business Operations and Integration Division within the Directorate of Public Works.
Duties
Implement supply management policies for all purchases.
Ensure accuracy of all supply transactions.
Train unit personnel in operation of S2K Supply System.
Train unit personnel in use of supply management policies.
Order maintenance supplies for assigned agencies.
Use Government Purchase Card to obtain supplies.
Provide assistance to customers to solve problems.
Provide assistance to colleagues to complete orders.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes experience entering, retrieving, and updating data in automated systems such as GFEBs software program and other databases; experience comparing purchases with statement balances to ensure accuracy; experience researching supplier catalog databases to locate products and purchase supplies utilizing a purchase card; experience interacting with other personnel and customers to solve problems. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06).
Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-06).
