Serves as a supervisor in the Collections Maintenance and Off-site Storage Section in the Collections Access, Loan and Management Division. Incumbent supervises the operation of the Collections Maintenance and Security Unit and the Off-Site Storage Unit.

Duties

Personally and through work leaders, supervises a group of approximately 20-25 employees performing work at the WL-07 through WG-03 levels, and coordinates and directs the activities of a staff comprised of work leaders, motor vehicle operators, material handlers and collections protection workers.

Applicants must have had progressively responsible experience and training sufficient in scope and quality to furnish them with an acceptable level of the following knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the duties of the position without more than normal supervision. Ability to supervise and lead a diverse workforce.** Ability to utilize computer technology.** Ability to interpret and follow instructions, specifications, etc.** Knowledge of and the ability to safely operate materials handling equipment and tools.** Ability to interact and meet with others. Ability to communicate in writing. Ability to communicate effectively other than in writing.
