This position is located in the Architect of the Capitol, House Office Buildings.  The selectee will be responsible for assigning, directing and reviewing the work of subordinates and evaluating work performance; planning, scheduling and coordinating work operations; and solving problems related to the work performed by the unit. The incumbent also performs nonsupervisory tasks in support of the mission.    

Duties

The position requires a current D.C. or State driver’s license and a Certificate as a Powered Industrial Truck driver to operate a Forklift in accordance with 29 CFR 1910.178 (l) (6) within 6 months of your start date.  This position is emergency essential - Depending on the type of emergency the employee may be required to report to work during emergency situations.
