Notice of Result letters will not be sent to applicants who respond to this flyer. You will serve as a Deputy Logistic Management Specialist for Supply Dept. (N4), NMAWC Complex.

Duties

You will manage the day-to day performance of assigned projects and department staff. You will collect data from component commands or institute internal tracking tools to analyze cost-benefit, logistical concepts of support, and continuous process improvement events. You will manage multiple contracts, monitoring compliance with contract terms, conditions, and specifications, evaluating contract performance and completing annual reports. You will collaborate with EODESU ONE to conduct logistic scheduling and coordination and maintain the departments calendar. You will aid in planning and developing programs, provide budget input, and administer the commands plans and budget. You will assist in managing facilities, utilities, and maintenance budgets, identifying shortfalls in EODTEU ONE facility requirements and resolving shortcomings, issues, and emergent repairs. You will direct and oversee all areas of logistics management, transportation, supply issue, hand receipt management, equipment maintenance, government purchase cards, logistics automation systems, and budgeting. You will oversee contracts, ensuring compliance with terms, conditions, specification and you will evaluate contract performance and prepare annual reports.

Requirements

  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: performing supply duties (i.e. maintaining accountability, inventory, planning maintenance, transportation, property accountability, personnel gear); utilizing logistic automated systems to accurately maintain electronic records; and managing contract evaluation performance to ensure efficient and effective management processes meet operational and mission needs.
