You will serve as a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the Supply Department (N4) of EODTEU ONE.

Duties

You will manage the day-to-day performance of Explosive Ordnance Disposal Training and Evaluation Unit ONE (EODTEU ONE) N4 Department Staff, providing needed logistic support and requirements of the command. You will oversee the day-to-day performance of assigned projects and determines logistical actions with respect to the command mission and applicable guidance and be responsible for the administration of the department's daily operations. You will research and collect data from component commands or instituting internal tracking tools. You will inspect, review, and verify contractor's work efforts, deliverable products and services, reports, plans and invoices under assigned contracts. You will serve as a liaison between contractors and the government contracting officer to identify/resolve issues and monitor contract's compliance with contract terms, conditions, and specifications. You will aid in the panning and development of program and budget input. You will assist in the oversight of multiple facility construction projects to include daily site visits and interaction with contractor superintendent to ensure all applicable building/project codes are adhered with. You will manage multiple contracts currently held underneath EODTEU ONE. You will evaluate contract performance in line with the contract, inspecting, reviewing, and verifying contractor's work efforts, deliverable products and services, reports, plans and invoices under assigned contracts. You will direct and oversee all areas of logistics management, transportation, supply issue, hand receipt management, equipment maintenance, government purchase cards, logistics automation systems, and budgeting.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final secret security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: performing logistics management operations (e.g. contract performance evaluation, business processes review, budget input, facilities, utilities, maintenance budgets, inventory and transportation management) in support of explosive ordnance disposal training and evaluation program.
