About the Position: Serve as Chief Army Substance Abuse Program Manager which supports the global war on terror with one foot in current operations by advocating for the current forces, and one foot in the future by leveraging and defining requirements to meet the needs of the future forces.

Duties

Lead an effective program capable of supporting deployment and redeployment of Soldiers, Civilians, Families, Reserves, Guard and units Manage the Installation's Biochemical Testing Program, assuring military and civilian drug testing is performed IAW with prescribed procedures. Develop local policies, procedures, and reporting requirements and systems to effectively accomplish program goals. Supervise the Installation's Army Substance Abuse Program (ASAP) Operate all actions in support of personnel, e.g. hiring, orienting, contracting, directing, supervising, monitoring, and evaluating performance

Experience: Four years of appropriate experience that demonstrated that the applicant has acquired knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field.
