This position is located in the Division of Finance, Headquarters of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and provides support in the areas by serving as the lead for Chief Financial Officer Organization's information management and administrative systems program. Duties

Leads the development and delivery of information management solutions, leveraging available technology platforms, which further innovation and emphasize business process improvement. Manages the collective CFOO information management workload, assigning program/project responsibilities, guiding work activities, conducting work quality reviews, and publishing workload statistics. Analyzes and evaluates changes in information management trends, to include new and emerging technologies, and assesses impact on CFOO business needs and information systems. Serves as a liaison, at the program and project level, between CFOO business line staff and CIOO staff. Coordinates with other FDIC Divisions/Offices, as appropriate, to maximize efficiencies and consistency. Develops and delivers reports, briefings, and other presentations for CFOO management on the status of assigned projects and new technologies.

Qualifications

Qualifying experience may be obtained in the private or public sector. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic, religious/spiritual; community; student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Additional qualifications information can be found here. To qualify, applicants must have completed at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the CG-14 grade level or above in the Federal service.  Specialized experience is defined as leading information technology projects, including designing, testing, implementing and monitoring systems and applications; hands-on Microsoft Power Platform experience, to include development of workflows, management dashboards, integration of content, developing permission structures, administering design changes, and training others in platform utilization; and using advanced analytics and artificial intelligence (AI) in the development of enterprise solutions and appropriate governance. Applicants must have met the qualification requirements (including selective placement factors – if any) for this position within 30 calendar days of the closing date of this announcement.
