This position is located in the United States Mint, Office of Strategy and Performance, Office of Policy & Analysis. The mission of the Office of Strategy and Performance is to implement all elements of the Government Performance and Results Act (GPRA), the GPRA Modernization Act, and relevant sections of Title V and Title 31 of the United States Code, as well as all other strategic planning, management and performance mandates governing Executive Branch agencies.

Duties

As a Supervisory Program Manager, you will: Define, direct, manage, and evaluate the following enterprise-wide functional areas: 1) Strategic Planning 2) Policy Analysis and Management, 3) Business Intelligence and Data Analytics, 4) Records and Information Management, and 5) Workplace Modernization. Develop national policy, procedures and processes for the Mint through the Office of Policy and Analytics, and integrates those policies with inter-bureau plans Coordinate and consult with senior management staff of other agencies and external stakeholders regarding major initiatives, actions accomplished, milestones to be achieved, and significant problems or issues related to the above. Provide leadership and guidance in the conduct of special short- and long-range management studies of major concern to the Chief Administrative Officer. Provide overall direction, leadership, and guidance for the bureau's information management functions including coordinating bureau engagement, managing controlled correspondence, implementing a policy management process and system, and managing the bureau's records management program.

Qualifications

You must meet the following requirements within 14 days of the closing date of this announcement. The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. Specialized experience: For the GS-15, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-14grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience or General experience for this position includes: Applying program management principles to direct the day-to-day operations of an organization. Examples of such experience could include: - Consulting with, making recommendations to and implementing solutions for executive level staff; OR - Planning, organizing and directing operations to include growth management, cost control and savings; OR - Researching and interpreting directives or other authorities on governmental regulations; OR - Analyzing and interpreting established and proposed policies and procedures; OR - Planning, organizing, directing, and/or leading the work of others performing data analytics and data mining or work comparable in nature. In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable: For the GS-15 you must have been at the GS-14level for 52 weeks.
