About the Position: Red River Army Depot (RRAD) is located in northeast Texas, 19 miles west of Texarkana and approximately 170 miles northeast of Dallas. Duties

Execute site data readiness plans. Improve materiel utilization and readiness. Develop and execute data quality work plans. Coordinate Logistics Modernization Program (LMP) efforts with other activities. Develop work performance standards, evaluate performance, and counsel employees as required. Submit annual operations budget and ensure the section is adequately staffed and structure is proper to meet program needs. Develop short- and long-range Logistics Modernization Program (LMP) plans and procedures providing regulatory guidance and interpretation.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Obtain and maintain a Personnel Background Investigation (NACI).
  • May be required to travel (TDY) 10% of the time for business purposes.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain appropriate security clearance for access to Depot Production Computer System.
  • All applicants are required to successfully complete the Civilian Education System Course and the Supervisory Development Course within 12 months of being assigned to the position. Failure to do so may result in an adverse action.
  • This position is supervisory as defined by the Office of Personnel Management's (OPM) General Schedule Supervisory Guide (GSSG). A one year probation to assess your ability to perform supervisory duties is required unless previously completed.
  • Temporary promotion may be made or extended up to a maximum of five years and can be made permanent without further competition.
  • Temporary appointment may be extended in one year increments up to a maximum of three years but cannot be made permanent.
  • Time Limited Detail NTE may be made or extended at management discretion.
